received a ban for not playing this dumpster fire and only just got the ban lifted, never playing this crap again.

Don't know why everyone is review bombing this???? played for 2 hours today have not had a single issue, the combat is not boring, the animations are so detailed and gory, and plays exactly like deadspace, and takes a massive dookie on that dumpster fire deadspace 3 as far as I'm concerned.

Me and the boys, barely see eachother in real life, we are all stuck at work and live in separate cities, most nights we sit in discord chatting and bored out of our minds, Wishing we could be in the great outdoors, bashing through the bush and having a right oh rippa of a time lad.

This game has completed our deepest and darkest fantasies, having spent 4 hours, driving together flipping on rocks and getting bogged in the water, we took a little tinny (poverty boat) out to the lake and all combined our poles together to plunge the deepest and wettest holes to catch some beautiful sea critters.

After we finished up and got back to shore, smelling like a brothel, all four of us were deeply satisfied and felt for the first time in years...........Complete

After giving up on this game a week after it launched due to inventory wipes and the servers crashing, i decided to redownload it after the Worldslayer announcement and give it a go, and it has honestly been a blast, Im 50 hours in, finished all side missions and am grinding the expeditions with a friend to get the ideal mods on my gear and weapons, Worldslayer cant come quick enough.

Just like i remembered from the xbox 360 days, had a heap of fun and settled down for a lemon tart afterwards, here is how i make the make perfect tart...

Obviously a fully baked tart crust any bakery will do and now for my filling.

Lemon Curd Filling....

2 large eggs plus 2 egg yolks (or 3 whole eggs)
3/4 cup (150 g/5.3 oz) granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1/2 cup (120 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice (2-3 lemons for both zest and juice)
2 tablespoons heavy cream , optional
1/2 cup (1 stick/115 g) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

To make the lemon curd:

In a medium heatproof bowl, place eggs, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and heavy cream, if using, and whisk to combine. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (bain-marie). Cook on moderate heat, whisking constantly, until mixture becomes thick (mine was ready in 10 minutes, but it can take up to 20). If you have a thermometer, it should register 170°F/75°C; otherwise, it should coat the back of a wooden spoon and leave a clear pass if you run your finger through it. The curd will thicken more once cooled.
Remove from heat and immediately strain mixture through a sieve. Add butter, a few cubes at a time, and whisk until completely melted and incorporated, and mixture is smooth. Take your time with it—the whisking makes for an airy and light texture. Allow to cool to room temperature before filling the tart. (Lemon curd can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or can be frozen for up to 2 months. To thaw, place overnight in the fridge. Whisk the mixture to smoothen it before using.)
Fill the tart shell with lemon curd, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until chilled. Serve with berries and whipped cream if you like. The tart is rich, so cut your servings small.

Me and a good mate bought it as we are massive AFL nuts, pretty decent as far as Aussie made games go, my only problem with the game would be, so far seeing Tex Walker kick goals i really hope the dev team look at this massive bug and patch it immediately it kinda ruins my immersion apart from that 10/10

Everyone giving this game a bad review based purely on the fact, its not AAA standard for graphics or animations, most of these reviews are made by people with under 5 hours game time and have not even gave the game a chance.

To be completely honest with you, Elex would have to be one of the only games in the last 5 years to really grab me and tear me away from real life, after getting over the initial clunkiness (if thats even a word) this game is a hidden gem the amount of dialogue options and outcomes for quests are amazing, the 3 factions and the way they contribute the world is so unique, not to mention the amount of skill trees and playstyles you can have its overwhelming

These things alone rival that of any rehashed AAA rpg title and put most to shame, so please do not be put off by these stupid idiots giving this game a bad rep based just on graphics and clunky animations, give the game a shot its amazing.
