Reviewers Note: PC version worked poorly for me by the "Crossroads" chapter, taking ages to load chapters and halfway-section of "Crossroads" dropping to 1 FPS and not moving for many periods of time. I found this game on the PS Plus collection on the PS5, and that is the version I played three times thus far on, currently on the fourth.

Detroit: Become Human is a Sci-Fi interactive choice-based experience. The story follows three protagonists, of varying stories and origins.

Connor: As of the start of Detroit: Become Human, he is the most advanced prototype the Android creators, Cyberlife, has to offer. He works with Detroit Police Lieutenant, Hank Anderson, to solve the Deviant epidemic across Detroit.

Kara: A housemaid who becomes Deviant early on, protecting a child named Alice from dangers in Detroit, as the to-be mother and daughter try to survive being hunted down and escape Detroit to settle down and start a new life.

Markus: Another advanced Android, not on the scale of Connor, living under the care of an old man who treats him like a son. Unfortunate events one day lead him to becoming the leader of a group of Deviants that want to put themselves in society.

Some of the stuff I've said in my descriptions of these characters are partially the result of certain 'choices' that you make in their stories. The amount of choices you can make in this game are simply astonishing, leading to many, MANY varying playthroughs with dozens of possible endings. Characters can die as early as their 3rd chapter, even. If you don't act well, or don't choose well, characters can and may very well will die.

Do I recommend this? That depends. I personally recommend a console experience, as despite the occasional frame glitches, it runs solidly on console. If your computer is above-average, however, a PC experience may suit you. Pick what suits you best, but overall? Yes, Detroit: Become Human is a good experience. I enjoy it.
