Well optimized game. CS2 does not run nearly as smooth on my machine. CSGO was better than Source, but Source is still way better than CS2. 1.6 is the king though, and really we all just want to go play paintball. one love.

Splitgate has the perfect reward system to hook you into casual play, but the competitive version of the game has maps that are too big, too exploitable, and too boring. The king of the hill game mode being the competitive standard means portal camping is the norm and there are no mechanics put in place to compensate. If portals slowly drained players health or players received a penalty for portal camping it might help, but honestly the game just isn't tight enough as it is to be worth more than me figuring out my rank. Also the drop system is very obviously designed to hook kids into gambling just like CS cases, so that is a super cute but ultimately worthless addition since you can't sell or buy skins on the steam market. No skin trading + portal camping = I'm going back to bunnyhopping in CS source like I always do because game developers still can't top CSS bhop servers cause they care more about designing an attractive lootbox system than they do about making a good competitive game or maybe even a viable esport. But it won't happen. The hype will die down just like with Apex. Sorry devs.

Early Access Review
This game loads a new map between every other round. Then the team spends a solid 2-3 minutes talking about the map. If you don't like the sound of your team mates' voice that's rough because there's no mute button as far as I was able to figure. Also the game is made in the Unity engine so it runs and loads slow. For this concept to have worked they needed to develop a proprietary engine that uses simpler assets with more robust changes between maps with less room for discussion between rounds. Also tighter shooting mechanics with better hit detection would be nice. This game's technical foundation will always hold it back but the concept is really neat, which is why I bought it (and then returned it). If the developers make their own engine that better suits the concept then Due Process 2: Two Process will not only be worth trying, it'll be worth keeping and playing for thousands of hours.

every time I boot up this game and do a run I get jacked the ♥♥♥♥ up and whether I die like an idiot on the first floor or I get to the crazy elite enemies higher up I always find myself saying "that was a good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ run" after I play this game. Absolutely worth the money, help these developers grow :)

It's a good game. The controls are satisfying, the kills are graphic, and the plot is simple and deeply human. This is the kind of project that could really blossom into something special. Looking forward to episode 1.

I miss CS:GO. All of the Valorant players are just the worst. They make CS2 worse everyday. I lost 12,250 dollars gambling on cases but scrounged it back through case investing. it's possible to make money, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a lot easier to lose money. and Valve knows it. they want to create a loser factory where people lose premier matches over and over again and gamble in between every round. And for that reason I'm out. if they can make a more positive user experience that generates more value for the players I'll consider coming back but honestly, I don't like where things are headed. Good luck, Valve.
