Edit: Great game so far, although I miss the old Ajax voice actor.

I got it for free, but so should everyone else. They are 20 year old images, and the players that would be interested in the old images, are the same players that have supported the series for the past 20 years.

Feels like this game had a younger target audience than the previous games. The main villains taking selfies, streaming and using social media was pretty cringe.
Its not a bad game, but in comparison to the previous borderlands games, I can't recommend. Gunplay is good but without any good story, or well written characters, the gunplay gets repetitive when thats the only positive feature of the game.

A lot better than I was expecting it to be. Refreshing fast paced shooter.

I have seen a lot of people say its full of cheaters, I have only encountered 1 person who seemed suspicious after 30 hours of game time. And even he probably was just having a good game.

I almost didn't try the game due to the reviews. Don't make the same mistake, give it a go.
