I absolutely adore this game. It's so intense and so amazing; from the story to the characters, to the art. I just loved it all.

The story, regardless of which route you take, is rife with twists and turns. I always ended up surprised by events that transpired. The endings were all unique. Yes, there were a few similar occurrences, but that comes down to the overall plot of the story more than anything. The routes themselves had quite a lot of similarities (again because of overall story), but there were enough differences and new experiences in each that it never felt repetitive.
Now, the beginning is a different story. The choices you make in the first four chapters ultimately decide what direction the rest of the story will take, but besides a few things here and there, the actual happenings are the same no matter what. It's kind of just a REALLY long prolog in my opinion. Still, it wasn't all that bad.

I really liked the cast of characters in this game. They were all completely unique and interesting. I believe they were also well-rounded. And, depending on the choices you make, you get to see quite a bit of depth in their character. Of course, I preferred some more than others, but that's bound to happen in any game. The actual design for each was also unique (and very pleasing to the eye). Some games have a cast of characters with a lot of visual similarities that make it hard to distinguish between all of them at times, but not this one. I adored the art style and artistic designs used for each. The art really added another layer of depth to the uniqueness of each character.
