This is a really fun metroidvania with an emphasis on precision platforming. There's a lot of smaller abilities and buffs that you can combine to get to areas you aren't "supposed" to reach yet and usually multiple directions to get to a given area.

This game was more fun to 100% than many games are to play at all. I loved every little investigation and all the details of the world and the fish.

This is a perfect example of the roguelike genre. It has simple controls but so many combinations that it is constantly interesting. Highly recommend at any price.

This is a beautiful blend of metroidvania and Pokemon. Play the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.

This game is just plain fun. It's a good mix of planning and tense action, seeing if this time you can execute the plan to kill four gunmen before the damn poncho turns around on his patrol. The writing is also fun and there are some good jokes and one liners mixed in. I'd definitely recommend playing this through.

This game is endlessly great. I'm not even good at it, I've never looped, and I still have 85 hours in and have been playing for eight years. Buy this now.

I would not recommend this game because it feels almost more like a demo than a full game. It's sparse and is missing a lot of city builder complexity. The basic mechanics of a floating city are intriguing but in practice the game is so easy that it doesn't matter. When you add in that the couple side quests that exist involve just randomly exploring the map, hoping to find the right ruins, and the game feels so incomplete as to be unfulfilling. I beat it in 7 hours and I don't really feel like trying a NG+ or trying to chase down the last couple ruins because this game is well represented in the banner -- a bit of substance floating on a lot of inflated hot air.

If you still want to play, definitely play on the highest difficulty from the start, but I wouldn't buy it without it being steeply on sale.

This is a great love letter to Ace Combat. Definitely worth the asking price.

The gameplay is a little clunky and there's a lot of snooping around in all the corners and grabbing little collectibles (I am sick of walking up apartment stairs thanks) but overall the vibe of the game is immaculate, the lore is weird and engaging, and the mystery itself is a lot of fun to unravel. Well worth getting imo.

Excellent game. The gameplay loop gets pretty repetitive around the halfway point but the emotion of the story carries it all the way to the end.
