The Binding of Issac will live no doubt as one of the best rouge likes to be made in recent memory. From the charming pixel art style, with a simple yet addictive game play loop, and a story with many complex themes of child abuse and religion, Binding of Issac is a fantastic experience overall. All of these also get expanded upon in all three great DLCs to the game, adding many new features and characters to mess around with. Ed Mcmillen has truly created the definition of a classic Indie game. I whole heartily would recommend this game, unless you have a life, because as seen by my hours, it sure likes to take that away.
