All the negative reviews are either people complaining about the Tekken shop, or people who can't get over the fact that Tekken 8 is not Tekken 7. Guess some people are just stuck on the past, they want the same old boring ass waiting game. I. for one want my unga bunga fighting game experience. I don't want to be a full screen distance away from my opponent waiting for Jesus to come down from heaven to hand me a mistake I can punish.

Tekken 8 could’ve indeed costed that much. Modern day Triple A development costs can be retarded.

You think tekken took hundreds of millions of dollars to make? Are you insane? And I’m fine with the floor being slightly lifter but mid tier and high tier gameplay suffered, and pros have said it so I have no idea what youre talking about. TEKKEN 7 made 12 million sale we’ll see which does better in a few years.

The Tekken community appears to be going through the exact same thing the melee community went through when brawl dropped.

@KeisterFeaster. Then why don't you spend millions if not hundreds of millions yourself to make something that will appear to 1% of the gaming audience? See how that goes. Your comment is the reason people look down on the Fighting Game community, insane sweatlord gatekeepers. And it's not easier, it's more accessible. That's two different things. Accessible means its easier to pick up, a lower skill floor. Easier means lower skill ceiling, so less skilled people will win championships. Which isn't the case as we have seen in tournaments. So your argument makes zero sense

Youre just silly tbh. Its not about mechanics changes, Fighting games should never get easier, SImple as that. No game should. People who are good and ACTUALLY put hours in quit, Its just boring that way.
