60% dr is 'beatable' but your opponent having effectively 3 hp bars meaning you need to mana flask several times at that point your opponent is just so much worse than you it doesn't matter if they are using BoG

I just use barrier only if mages use SoR or moonveil. And BoG is very beatable without law of regression, played this matchup a couple dozen times as a mage.

The difference in power between stars of ruin and Barrier of gold is massive though. Become effectively immune to magic damage vs take 300-ish chip damage. Just stop hating mages
