Early Access Review
Fun game its a cross between Civ and Tropico. Each cycle you have a chance to create 4 or 5 cities that you can build out from the citadel. Depending upon where you choose to settle your city will vary upon what resources are available, what possible detriments may happen, or what bonus may be applied. Once the cycle ends all of your cities will be wiped off the map and you start over again.

Once you choose a location you will get a choice of some citizens either humans, beavers, harpies, or lizards. Each of these have their own specialists that need to be taken into account when choosing as some are better in different area and with specific buildings. You also have to take into consideration impatience from the ruler which if it gets to the end of the bar you would have failed that city. In the city you will get choices of building that will be randomized so you will not be able to get all of the building types. This means you need to choose wisely about which ones you will need. There will be a set number of quests given during the city phase which requires you to accomplish different things. Cutting wood which is required to make your city bigger also increase hostility from the forest which will affect the resolve of the citizens. Additionally cutting into glades and glade quests will affect resolve. You will be given choices for boost and more citizens each mini cycle which is heavy rain which has a negative to resolve, then a medium drizzle then a light which drizzle which removes the negative resolve.

You will need to get buns, cogs, and amulets to upgrade the citadel which will make city building easier.
