With the current hidden MMR system that a lot of games are going with now, ranked 2.0 has become a joke. The rank that you see is meaningless and depends entirely on WL. So if you're super ♥♥♥♥ and still manage to win 51% of your games, you will rank up. Additionally, the game automatically determines your Hidden top MMR for you, so up until you will get there, you will get lots of fake RP, then after, you will get barely any, similar to how many you used to get in the previous ranking system. The difference, however, is that those points meant something. I have met so many champions in rank 2.0 that were consistently bottoms of the leaderboard throughout multiple lobbies, To have the pink symbol next you meant something, however now, it has lost all valor and is a meaningless illusion of success.

However, rank 2.0 is definitetly not the only problem within the game.
Operator balancing is a huge issue within R6, especially because generally, instead of changing abilities, the developers change gun play. Remove a scope, change a weapon, take away grenades; when instead, the developers should change their abilities. And instead of making terrible operators good, they have decided to reduce every operator's enjoyment level to a slush of bad vs bad operators.
Additionally, especially with the last operator released (Heavy Mettle op), the strategy now is to replace existing operators entirely and make them pointless. You can use the drill for vertical, however, you already have Zofia, Buck, Sledge to do that. And now, you also get the best gun with the best scope on it for trolls? Similarly with all recent operators, it's always a *existing operator BUT*. or an existing operator but better.

With more and more seasons coming out that keep pushing the limits of "bare minimum", I am overly disappointed with the effort that the developers put into maintaining quality of life and new exciting content. I think the most recent recruit changes. Instead of adding a new operator, they make the existing operators despicably boring. There's a limit of 1 per team, and the changes otherwise are meaningless.
Please do better and make some changes that actually have worthwhile positive longeterm (or at least any term) effects.

I've never been more dissapointed. I'm good at this game. This is my most played game. But at this point, I'm afraid I must flee the ship and let it sink without dragging me with it.
