Honestly, as someone who has had a lot of long-term partners, the best advice on this front is to take up a hobby/class that you enjoy outside of your home. Don't go looking for a girlfriend but focus on the hobby instead.

There's a good chance you will meet someone who shares the same interests as you and is interested in you. Ask them out for a drink, tell them you're interested, go for relationship not friendship. Never FIND your next partner in a pub or club, they're probably crazy.

I'll admit this would be hard for me too amid the current climate and I hope there is a chance for you to try this in the near future. Good luck!
