The game by itself is OK at best, but as a Silent Hill entry, it's not on par with any of the previous games in the franchise.

This is a god awful port; constant crashes, freezes and a bug that makes one of the bosses immortal. Luckily, the UnknownProject patch does remedy some of this, but it doesn't completely prevent any of these issues from happening.

If you're a hardcore Silent Hill fan and you're thinking of buying this as it is the only Silent Hill game available on Steam as of right now, do yourself a favour and don't. If you really feel the need to play this game then just play it through alternative methods (*cough* emula-*cough*), you'll probably have a better experience playing that way than through this horrible port. Just please, don't spend any money on this game.
