The fourth and final installment of the cold steel series, to people familiar with the trails series this was probably the most epic version to date given the crossovers and multitude of collaboration. It tries to tie in stuff from its older version seamlessly and in part create lots of reminiscent moments for true fans. Yet, even then there were so much more to be done!

Each of the trails games boasts at least a 100 hour Completionist playthrough and cold steel alone will amount to at least 100 hours per game give and take for new game plus for its additional content, yet replaying the game does not remove any of the enjoyment in fact knowing the story enhances the experience further.

Absolutely a must have JRPG, the world building and character progression is absolutely peak quality alongside a stellar cast of talented voice actors, the music alone is enough to get you emotional. Perhaps one of the best JRPG's to exist. Will be looking forward to more titles from Falcom, can't wait for Hajimari and Kuro.
