Considering Civ VI was released a long time ago, I guess I'll just post a review on Civ V while I wait for Civ VI modding to mature properly. It'll only just take a couple of minutes...
Postives:
+ Highly addicting. Even if I am like the most causal player of them all (So much to do, so little time. I blame school, 242 or so hours is just not enough)
+ Modding community. While not to the legacy of Skyrim, it is still fairly impressive compared to the base game alone. May I suggest the Event's and Decisions mod from Sukritact?
+ The crazy stories that could be formed from each game, if you're into that sort of thing. Dystopia is easy to set up.
+ Some legitimately good things that I may have forgotten.
+ Salt, Petra and freaking canal.
Negatives:
- As evident by some of the other reviews here, has a horrible tendancy to cause people to lose track of the time.
- The need to get both expansions to make it absolutely interesting. To be fair, they are very good expansions, it's just that...
So, in conclusion, I rate it fairly well. Best brought on a steam sale, with all the bells and whistles we call 'Expansions and DLCs'.
...Umm, guys, why is it, like, 8pm?
