The fall off of Katy Perry should be studied for decades, possibly even generations.
She went from having the most popular songs being heard on the radio every 15 seconds, to being practically non-existent in the music scene.
You want to know what else is practically non-existent?
Critical thinking skills. Many people lack them, many people wish they had them, but everybody has flaws and everybody forgets about them when they aren't in a right state of mind.
People say things they wish they didn't say, people do things they wish they didn't.
At the end of the day the cards you are dealt are the cards you have and you need to learn to live with them.
No matter who dealt them, or who gave them to you, regardless of how close they are to you, whether a girlfriend or a leader of a foreign country, they are what you have and you are what you are.
We are all people and we all make mistakes, we all have opinions and different thoughts on others. Those thoughts change overtime and cause people to feel distant to those they once felt close to.
Pushing people away is a poor idea, it will only harm you in the end.
However, I could be entirely wrong, everybody is different and I don't even know people who I thought I was close to.
The only thing capable of your trust are those who are bound by blood, loyalty, and/or the hobby.
The hobby doesn't leave you, the hobby doesn't hurt you, the hobby is there, the cases, the keys, they will never leave. They are the bare skeleton to a man's sanity. Girlfriend leaves? Open cases. Cat dies? Open cases. Car explodes? Open cases. Bored? Open cases.
The hobby is true and final.
The hobby is love
The hobby is life.
