After a few hundred hours in Skyrim, my first TES game, I decided to give this one a go.
At first I only played the main quest, and tbh I didn't like it all that much and i felt the game is overrated, coming from Skyrim, the combat felt especially clunky, and the animations looked wonky.

Fast forward a few years, I decided to give it another go. This time I would play an Alchemist. I just wanted something to chill tbh. Ignoring the main quest entirely, I kept picking ingredients and making potions, selling them to make money in hope of buying a house.
Before I knew it, I was addicted to the loop, to the music, to the world :) It is quite nice without those Oblivion gates.
I then started learning some magic to defend myself, I went mostly with pacifist spells, didn't want to do any killing unless I had no choice. Gotta say in that regard, I found Skyrim better, you get access to those spells much quicker and are more effective.
But still, I find magic much more fun that regualr weapons in this game.

Compared to Skyrim, I find the characters and side quests way more interesting, the open world is a bit vacant though, and dungeons feel extremely repetitive and confusing at the same time. Skyrim did that better.

At the end, I just wanna say I am very glad I gave it another chance, I really like it now :)

P.S. Jumping feels really good in this game, it is strange lol Even better when you open gates while mid-air!

Yes I like to roleplay :) I once went into a goblin cave and killed everyone! Then I said, nah that doesn't seem like something my character would do, and I just reloaded lol

In Skyrim it was easier to learn spells that calm everyone down o rmake them flee. I had a character that would go into bandit outposts, calm everyone, take all the valuables, and leave XD
Or cast Mayhem, then invisibility, and watch them kill each other.
