Hey all. I'm Zelynda. I like many types of games, science fiction, fantasy, snarky humor, good music from whenever, learning about the universe, cats, and people who don't suck. I run Don't Starve Together servers with weird names, some mods (but nothing OP) and random seasons.

Also--I'm a chick, I play games, and I'm a proud, dyed-in-the-wool nerd. If that still breaks your worldview...get a new one, it's the 2020s for frick's sake.

Just finished my first playthrough of "Slay the Princess" and....wow, just wow...

10/10, would help two Eldritch beings find each other, fall in love, and walk hand in hand into the infinite cosmos, again.

Anytime. :White_Cat:

Aww, the Vulcan salute emoji. :) Yeah, I don't blame you, the Star Trek franchise has ♥♥♥♥♥♥...COMPLICATED. We had years and years where we had no Trek TV series at all, and a few, spaced-out, movies. That was it.

Then suddenly in the late 2010s Star Trek came back to TV--but not how us olds were hoping it would come back. Not in the form of not one (or maybe sometimes two, overlapping each other by a season or so) show of an oldschool budget and a 20-something-episode season length...

...but rather the newschool Netflix-bingey kind of way with only _ten_ REALLY expensive episodes per season, and _several_ seperate shows on more or less at once (or at least in the same year).

It goes...let's see if I can remember...I think we had Discovery start first, then Picard? then I _think_ Lower Decks? then I THINK Prodigy and then Strange New Worlds. Yes, you read that right. Five. FIVE new Treks.

Yep.

🖖 i know of TOS and NG, bt was never a full follower. DS9 and V were syndicated late nights, often watched bt out of order. otherwise for most i'm lost.

Oh yeah, for those of you who didn't know I was a Trekkie--hi. I've been one literally all my life. Welcome to a major part of my nerdiness. :)

I just saw the last (so far? pleasepleaseplease???) episode of "Star Trek: Prodigy", and...

wow.

WOW.

W O W.

The writing is consistently really good, they treat it seriously to the point where you forget it's even SUPPOSED to be a "kids' show" a lot of the time, our fave characters from "Voyager" (and I AM a Voyager fan, dammit!) essentially get a whole other season in animated form, the animation and design is consistently GORGEOUS, and holy cow, that epilogue.

THAT EPILOGUE.

I'm totally with all the reviews I've read so far--I don't care if we have to freaking crowdfund it, this underlooked masterpiece deserves another season!
