Absolutely love the game. After +900h spent on this, I still never get tired. The new patch has changed lot of stuff, but in my opinion it has improved the game. However, as some people pointed out it seems that the AI isn't as able to adjust to the new changes as the players, and the mid-late game lag is still a pain in the neck. I'm optimist about the devs fixing the former, but not so much about the latter.
Btw: explore the workshop as much as you can, some of the mods out there are absolutely fantastic, making the game even better. Most of the dlcs add very interesting features, especially Utopia and MegaCorp, and I recommend you to buy the ones that seem interesting to you, possibly during sales.
