the brotherhood has done it again. a horror point n click set in a terrifying stasis universe with intriguing puzzles that provide hints and a story that becomes more disturbing with progression. sometimes difficult to figure out which of the 3 characters to use in order to pass along items but user friendly indicators is very useful to spot objects in the detailed environments. And the are optional death scenes for those gore fans.

the game play reminds me of firewatcher but with DJ station and a creepy tone. the dialogues are really good and there's a deeper story to the killer and the town as you solve dilemma save people. shame that it has little replay value but there are hidden dialogue when you play the right tracks and tapes.

they say a picture speak a thousands words, its another to rearrange those words to see a bigger picture in this short minimalist mystery that you might need to set up an evidence board and coffee. no matter how tempted, don't resort to cheating! if you can't appreciate creative thinking and obsessive deductions, go back to preschool.

a point & click adventure that captures the classic feel like monkey island and grim fandango. backgrounds are varied and colourful along with music that blends jazz Noir with tropical Jamaican. most of the puzzles are straight forward that doesn't require critical thinking but it does help keep the story going in this 3-4 hour adventure.

is a sailor salty enough? a tonic salesman a little oily? perhaps a priest is pure enough for your taste.

many games can feel like groundhog day based on your memory of any secrets and shortcuts but this game focuses on that mechanic as an essential. The developers had made an open ended point & click adventure game that stands out from generic or telltale titles that lets you use all the items from the get go but the timing and combination can give each player unique approach. the mystery encourages not only to find the best outcome but to piece together clues through trail and error to see the picture as whole. generic graphics and location in a small apartment may seem underwhelming but it makes up with a great thriller story and superb guest voice acting. I hope that they make a sequel or another game like this one.
