In short, Don't buy this game it's just a jankey 2D version of Unturned which has no value becuase Unturned is free to play.

In essence, the experience is very frustrating with the garbage controls offered. Every server for this game has hundreds of mods which i assume fix some of it but i have no tested as i'm locked into the purchase so i'm trying to get the most out of it by playing vanilla first. the concept is cool and there are maybe enough gameplay elements to warrant a paid game but the execution was far to poor to hold up to any dollar amount. in reality buying this game is just a donation to the devs but if your gunna donate there are far better alternatives.

After logging more hours and experiencing 400+ various mods I have concluded:
-The base game is unplayably fustrating with any mistake costing you all progress, the mods add ways to recover from infections but they are also largly unplayable due to the demand on the player from the base game to survive 50+ rl hours of leveling just to build basic objects. all the while your constantly fighting tons of moodle bs that destroys any sense of a fun zombie game,
this game is "The Sims: elden ring edition".
-Any attempt to survive and progress is feutile, Surviving requires camping moodle reducers, and progressing requires looting,
-looting results in you inevitably opening a door or breaking a window to a room the game has spawned more zombies then tiles in the room, they imidiently explode out and put you in the death animation. if thats not what kills you then a zombie will somehow sneak up behind you while your 6 hours into your 10 hour plank crafting que and you get fully reset, thus having to spend 40 more hours taking apart random crap to be able to craft again. also add the time of reading every book again.
-also the abysmal inventory mechanics make every part of the game so min numbingly slow. get ready to carry those planks 4 at a time, oh and also they take a full 5s EACH to pick up or transfer in any way.

Don't subject yourself to this game, even with perfect play it would take the good amount of a week just to get the skills up and it entirly loading bar brain rot. it demands Rust levels of hours and sweat but only offers Sims level satifaction.

P.S. if your here cuz you think its a multiplayer game all servers are 0/10 players seemingly at all times. your only option is to make your own with friends or apply for a whitelist server if there are any left. but that's for the best cuz pvp would make this already terrible grind so much worse.

Came from Ludwigs videos but it's clear they are killing the game overtime. Just look at snail for example in the vods it was a good balanced tower that was still unused cuz subpar, now its nerfed into the ground sense you have to keep it. Overall the game is a good concept but the devs favor there favorite metas or are just really dumb and make completely unlogical changes to suit there needs making the game worse over time. currently there are maybe 10 viable animals in the free pack. don't waste your time it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ TFT. if you do just get 2 clearly op animals and 3 food/ round buffers and you win, no thinking required just spend all the gold.

SCAM ALERT!!!!! I can't believe this game has good reviews. combat is god offal, quests are boring, but ig that makes sense considering the devs were so high they though they were Hollywood writers. when your allowed to actually play it feels like your trying to guide Henry while hes having a stroke, all the while the bandits are using Phase Shift, Blink, Flash, etc to teleport onto you and warp alongside your horse pushing you off while you still have your bow out cuz last you knew they were 15 feet away. even when surrounded by trees they'll warp around you at mach 5 doing a tornado attack while you get pushed off for no apparent reason. this game is a disgrace to likes of M&B, ill never buy the squeal and i feel bad for anyone subject to this. If the opening wasn't so long i couldn't return it then i would have. this is a complete cash grab scam no attempt to create game play is anywhere in this pos.

When your bowing bandits on horseback, battling threw Henry god awful arthritis and the fake difficulty added by not bring able to see where your actually aimed and the enemies rittled with arrows are going "Hm, who are you?" while your actively shooting them from 5 feet away you'll get what i mean. omg this game is so bad, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

After logging more hours to see if there's anything here i can confirm there isn't. The alchemy is clearly busted and lets you get all the best stuff very quickly, the levels don't really matter, all the horses run at the same speed even tho ones stats are double anothers', the only effective melee combat is to stand still and wait 5 min for the enemy to attack and then when they do hope the master strike goes off. this game was clearly a scam some bad writers ran to try to charge ridiculous prices for movie tickets to a movie no respectable producer would back.

This is a 10x worse version of Chivalry, a 20x worse version of Skyrim, and a 30x worse version of Mount&Blade, and that was made by 2 people with no money. This is shameful, like spitting in the mouth of the fantasy game community, and it's even worse that alota the community ate this ♥♥♥♥ up. This is the kinda purchase that makes you feel like you back in the Landscape scandle. It's development feels on par with The Stomping Lands (another steam scam).

If you can consider this a game its a 2/10 at best:
+1 -it boots and runs
+1 -it's fun for a couple hours (if you ignore the story and skip the hours of movie)

I bought this game years ago, they had alota trouble getting running but the devs seem dedicated to this game and show no signs of abandoning it. this game as is does a great job of giving the player the experience of being a dinosaur in the jurassic era and the dangers that lay at every age bracket on their way tward adulthood. currently i will say the game gets boring, their isn't much to do besides walking around and eating but thats a pretty accurite discription of dinasour lifestyle. all and all id give this game an 7/10 as it is, which considering its a pre-alpha should tell you just how much potential this game holds. Cant wait to see what the future holds for Saurian! but the current game is still definitly worth the $10 asking price and factoring in its potential id be willing to put out another $20 on it.

This is a hard one to recommend because its a sound concept with poor execution. if your looking for a hunting game this is one but i would in no way call it a simulation. Basically the devs had a good idea but have no hunting experience and half way threw decided all they care about is the money. sadly you wont read this before its too late because of the mass censorship.


Pros:
-cheap base game with 2 very large maps and all the guns you'll need
-wide variety of anatomically correct animals
-gorgeous landscape

cons:
-devs censer negative reviews instead of fixing game
-every little thing is locked behind dlc totaling over $200 including but not limmited to ATVs, Dogs, best guns, ground equipment, maps, new species
-damage to animals is unrealistic
-high powered rifles struggle to penetrate flesh and origins. feel like all .22s
-animal bone feels like hardened steel
-Bows are basically rail-guns
-buckshot doesn't even penetrate skin of smaller animals
-animals heal while running after shot instead of bleeding out
-damage to animals is not reflected in their running ability (if all 4 legs are shattered expect a 2 hour high speed chase)
-if animal survives at 25% hp after shot expect to run across the entire map for it (3-4 hour chase plus will be full health)
-animal senses are unrealistic
-some animals hear/see you threw walls at over 250meters away while crouching
-some animals can be full sprinted at without noticing you
-due to the above facts game plays much more like a walking simulator
-tracks from animals labeled old/very old are often actually very close
-tracks from animals labeled fresh/very fresh often result in hours of walking to no avail
-without dlc moving around the map takes a very long time
-multiplayer is buggy and lacks pings
- leveling system is wayyyy to long and game is very bad until stealth and silent skills are unlocked
-on top of everything the save function is garbage, expect to explore every map ad-lest a dozen times and unlock every gun ad-lest twice. Sense the most save errors occure when you've done something big (also expect to have your diamonds deleted). strangely all my save errors happen after the completion of a multi day grind, happens a little too often to be considered a coincidence.

all in all i cannot recommend this game based off the fact that devs constantly relese dlc instead of fixing the core aspects of the game showing they dont care about the players experience and just want you to keep buying their dlcs.

DONT BUY THIS GAME. its very broken and alot of people are having trubble getting it to work. i own one of the best computers alienware makes and it says i dont meet the requirments. i went on line and checked and i have way over the maximum in every catagory. DONT BUY THIS GAME!
