If you're looking for a game that is fun to look at, can be played in short or long sessions and has an "easy to learn, difficult to master" vibe to it Super Auto Pets is for you.

I've been looking for a game like this for ages - it immediately hooked me and I'm 50+ hours deep!

This game will have you believing you have the worst luck in the world. Keep in mind here, I've only played the default pet pack. I build a summoning team... uh oh rhino/snake/crocodile time! I then give up on making summoning teams (they can't win) and switch to trying the STUPID ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RHINO TEAM... AND NEVER FACE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUMMONING TEAM. 

Seriously though, I've tried to learn the pets and the meta, but almost every time I play, none of it matters because the game is only based on RNG. I WISH this was a skill issue. You simply won't get the pets you need when you need them; hell, I've rolled the shop with all my gold, never even seeing a little crumb of what I need. It just isn't a fun game play loop.

Also, because of a CRINGE PAYWALL, you can't even experience most of the pet packs. Instead, the things you earn in the game are cosmetics. Why wouldn't you opt for earning the pet packs (MORE GAME PLAY) and then locking all cosmetics behind money? Calling the game free to play is a stretch, as the free content is bare bones, and from what I've watched of the other packs, the rest of the game isn't worth the insane asking price. They are ACTUALLY charging 10 DOLLARS for EACH pet pack (one is 5 dollars but includes the least amount of pets). I actually just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chuckled while writing this because, could you imagine spending 35 dollars for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game?
