10/10 Great game, and I mean that very genuinely!
I have been a fan of horde slaying games for a LONG time, and I can say with confidence that I've never found one as satisfying and continuously playable as Deep Rock Galactic. The thing I enjoy most about the game is how each of the four classes has such a unique and direct impact on the game. You can immediately tell when you have an Engineer on your team, and the same is true for all classes via different game-altering utilities. None of them feel like they tread on another class' toes. There truly feels like there is an abundance of class and build diversity once Overclocks are unlocked.
I am also a fan of horror as a genre, but I am scared easily so I tend to watch my partner play horror games. Deep Rock Galactic, however, takes a lot of visual inspiration from the horror genre but is able to maintain a lighthearted and goofy mood. The characters are dwarves after all. I am both terrified by the creatures of Hoxxes, and incredibly eager to fight them with my cool dwarf build.
