Ever wanted Ghostbusters 3 to be a thing but also wanted to be a ghostbuster yourself?
Well here ya go.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame really is great, but only because of the Ghostbusters coat of paint. You run around and reel in ghosts and shoot at generic spookies which would be kinda boring if you didn't do it in the whole 'Bustin getup with your sweet lil' proton pack and the other Gostbusters in tow. One of the best things about this game is that the voice acting is done, for the most part, by the original actors (Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis, Hudson, etc.)
All I'm saying is: if you like Ghostbusters, consider buying this game. If you don't like Ghostbusters, then why are you here, broh.
Ok let's look at the important stuff:

Plot:

Ok so there's ghosts and things but the important part is that it's written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis

Gameplay:
-An essential thing to note is that you, throughout the course of the game, unlock four different proton stream things, each serving a different purpose and each having a special attack or ability.
-The enemies tend to either be destructible objects brought to life or just straight up ghosts. The ghosts tend to be the most difficult as they need to be captured.
-You have access to a half life physics gun stream that is used to wrangle ghosts, solve puzzles, and move debris.

Graphics:

-Is good, looks good
-the proton pack is filled with detail which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great

ok now that that's out of the way let's talk about the pros and cons

Pros:
-It's Ghostbusters
-But not the new Ghostbusters
-As in it's the original one with Bill Murray and that one guy whos last name is spelled weird
-somewhat above average gameplay
-excellent graphics that still hold up (for the most part)

Cons:
-several of the boss fights feel underwhelming
-occasional lag discharge

My final verdict is that this game is great, even though it's a movie game.
I'll give it a neat ol' 8/10
