This game came out at the perfect time. Lockdown had just started and world was going to ♥♥♥♥. I was excited everyday because i was so immersed in this beautiful world. I consider the first ori game as one of my favorites of all time, so i had a lot of expectations for the sequel. I am so happy to say that this game delivers and also has earned a spot on my favorite games list. Everything that was amazing in the first game is here also. The music is fantastic and plays such a crucial part of the narrative and overall experience. The animations are damn near flawless, with everything having subtle movements that really makes the world feel alive. The art style and color palette is as beautiful as the first game, with small improvements that makes it look even better than the first game. Every single frame of this game could be a windows computer background.

I think that combat was the weakest part of Blind Forest because the lack of complexity and play styles. Moon Studios were clearly aware of this and they have improved the combat system in every single way. You can now choose what kind of combat moves you want to have, which opens up to a variety of play styles and combos that you can do. Last but not least we have the story. The narrative and storytelling in this game is top notch. You get so attached to the characters and the world that it's almost hard to let go. I felt melancholic at the end of the game and i didn't want to say goodbye to this fantastic world that i had fell in love with over the course of a couple of days.

In conclusion this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. You can tell that the developers poured everything into this game and loved it as much as we do. Everything that was good in the first game is on par or even better in the sequel. I can't recommend this game enough. This is one of the few games that i have ever bought on release day and i am so happy i did! I'm kinda disappointed that this game isn't nominated for goty because it has earned it's spot there.
