Genuinely fun heist, easily one of the best in the game now with a BANGER of a soundtrack. SIGNIFICANTLY more fun than Syntax Error. And yeah the weapons are incredible, LOVING the MP5 or whatever they were forced to call it.

I remember playing one of these games as a kid on the ps3. ♥♥♥♥ I rented it from Blockbuster back when that was a thing. If this was the one, man this did not age well. Between the terrible audio quality (other games from the same year were way better), godawful story, and the time-eating, slow-as-hell idiot of a brother you're stuck sticking by or else you fail the mission, I have to advise skipping this one. Go for Gunslinger instead.

A pleasant surprise when nothing but negativity seemed to float around this title. While there are some issues with the combat a little janky, the gameplay being repetitive, and some mission's having BS stipulations on how you kill the enemies (for example, some missions say you can only damage enemies if it's a "shield harvest" attack), there are still a lot of positive things going on here, albeit I'm not /that/ far in. Biggest thing for me is how much the music enhances combat encounters and makes them feel more exciting. That and the performances from the cast are all incredible. And while it is a "live service" game (jesus that term seems to be thrown around like the boogeyman to scare people away), it's a huge W that they stated there won't be time restrictions and that it won't require daily chores and grinding to get the seasonal content, as it won't be leaving after 3 or so months, similar to how Deceive Inc. handles their battle passes. There's a decent amount of good here, don't let the negativity scare you away from a fun time! Although yeah wait for a discount unless you genuinely love the Suicide Squad and DC comics.

Edit: Now that I've "finished" the story, the end-game is very odd. We have to wait for the studio to put out the rest of the story. If I had to guess, I'd say 2 boss fights per season for 6 seasons? We'll see. But yeah still fun, especially with the end-game loot which feels very satisfying to use. I think one thing that's actually hilarious, for those that watch Cr1tikal's vids, his main complaint was that the "second half of the game was all escort missions" when there was really only 4 or 5 that just take like 5 minutes each. It's really not that bad, as much as I love that greasy man, I have to hard disagree with him. Also loving how Mad Online(tm) people are over this game being "woke." I swear to god there's a thread of these insecure clowns ranting over one (1) unlockable audio log because they can't handle hearing the phrase "toxic masculinity." All these clowns and the Joker isn't even in the game yet.

This is a very middle-of-the-pack game. It's good, not great, but far from bad. It's about a 15 hour story. Most of the combat is pretty fun. The late-game bullet sponges kinda slow things down. Dialogue/writing isn't the best either, found myself skipping certain character's dialogue at like the 2nd encounter with them (looking at you, Pickles). Sometimes things just happened in the story and it was completely irrelevant. It definitely is extremely 80s. Also some wack misogyny toward the end out of nowhere where basically one female character like reaffirms women are just therapists for men, which if anyone believes that please actually visit a therapist, that's not your significant other's job, don't just trauma dump. I'm going on a tangent. Anyway another weird thing is they only hired one guy to play the "punk" gangsters/criminals and it gets really old fast because it's just the same voice for all of them. There isn't variations from the VA, it's just the same voice the whole time.

All in all, it's good, it's fun, it's not fantastic, buy it on sale for around $20-$25, DEFINITELY not $50. I wish there was a middle recommendation option. I recommend it only discounted, but I definitely am not saying to completely avoid this title.

This game is a copy paste clone of Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator, a game that is currently bundled with this. Mutiny, the devs/publisher of EFBS has a history of abandoning their projects, for example SwarmZ. I think what may be happening is they are trying to rebrand themselves as Aerilon Studios or perhaps a merger happened. Either way this reeks of Mutiny, a company that should not be trusted by consumers. Just get UEBS2 instead. It does everything here and more. Much more.

There's significantly better battle sims out there than this that does everything this game does and VASTLY expands upon it. For being over 2 years old now, this game does not have the content it should. Much like with the last game I purchased from Mutiny Software, SwarmZ, it seems this game has been abandoned. Even shadier, Polygon Fantasy Battle Simulator, a game currently bundled with this and SwarmZ, is nearly a copy-paste clone but under the publisher Aerilon. I genuinely wonder if Mutiny Software is trying to rebrand themselves to escape their past titles. Something seems very suspicious here.

Anyway if you want a better battle sim than this, go for UEBS or UEBS2. Both of which are I believe the same price as this.

Fun sandbox game but the devs abandoned it YEARS ago and VERY quickly. They put out 1.0.1, 1.0.2, and 1.0.3 and stopped there only a month after it released. Very alarming how quickly they dropped this project, especially with it lacking some major QOL things, for example, one thing I really wanted, a brush for spawning survivor units like there is with the zombies. Honestly if you want to see massive hordes of zombies battle against whatever, go for UEBS2 instead.

Jokes aside this game has a lot of promise, ton of fun. Shooting the bugs is very satisfying and having a large team with you (up to 16) just makes it that much more chaotic in the best way possible. An early trailer made me think this might've been your basic 4-player co-op but I'm so glad I was wrong. Not to mention this is only early access! This is more fun and functions better than a LOT of other early access games. The future is bright with this title, as long as nobody screws things up.

Waited for the free weekend to see what was going on here. Loaded up the first time, got stuck on an infinite load. Second load up, did what I guess was the tutorial conquest match, nearly died to an INVISIBLE TANK-- yeah no, full-on invisible, then black screened after that game ended, alt-f4'd, and wrote this negative review. Now to get 67gb back on my hard drive. What a mess.

I'm not one for visual novels. But oh my god this is the funniest, most entertaining thing they could have done. There is so much brilliant tongue-in-cheek humor that anyone that plays DBD will be cackling over. What may seem like a horny trap is actually a really well-made game. This is so unbelievably goofy in the best way possible. This is absolutely worth it if you enjoy DBD. Also the fact they made a quirky, calming, tropical track that features survivors' grunts/screams of pain is just brilliant.
