We've come a long way in VR, over the years. I've had my Vive for around a year now, and there has never been something quite like this. Though, as a person who has bought VR, it's likely that you want to feel like you're an early adopter of something that's going to be big.
Janus VR will most likely not be that program to make it big in the online metaverse idea, simply due to it not being a big company product. It is, however, the first step to achieving that kind of universe.

As it stands, the game is horrendously buggy, and a lot of decisions layout-wise have been poorly made, for the HTC Vive's controllers at least. The game is severely underpopulated, and this makes it less engaging.
On the flipside, the community creations are impressive. The game already has a handful of websites that are supported, and the lobby features some very nice and hidden easter eggs (I found the church, devs). This game feels very similar to AltSpace, and anybody who has played that will feel at home.

Why do I recommend this? Here are my three reasons:
-It's free.
-The devs show a lot of promise, I just hope it follows through (I'll be willing to help out in any way if necessary).
-This experience will be a first for you, and you will feel like you're going to be an early adopter of something huge.

Try it out. In spite of all the glitches and unpolished features, there are a lot of things to enjoy here.
