Amazing game, great graphics, interesting plot, and semi-realistic.
Been playing this game since 2016 and it has never failed to entertain me.

In regards to EVRIMA and the new drama upbringing.
I would say that I have been very supportive of this game, I watched it grow, and grew excitement upon every update.
I would now make it very clear upon myself and anyone else who is looking forward to getting this game, this game really isn't worth it if you break down every piece of content this game has.

1. EVRIMA was a failure:
The community waited over a year for a small and broken update
The devs hyped this new update up, they sold t-shirts and all sorts of merch.
Back in December, the devs released a trailer, showing a lot more content then the actual release would offer.
EVRIMA currently has 2 playable dinos, 1 map, survival only, and several bugs.

2. The in-game servers are mostly terrible
The servers in-game have too many harsh rules
Most server staff are very biased and toxic
Servers that do not obsess about making the game peaceful and unoriginal are nearly impossible to find
Most servers disable the in-game function called "ALT turn", making everything unbalanced
Very few sandbox servers exist, for people who want to play on sandbox servers

3. The community grows ever more toxic:
As the community of this game grew, the game became fowl.
Immaturity filled the forums and Discord server,
in-game servers would become owned but increasingly immature people; who react harshly to any other opinions, or people who just play the game for combat.
Following the recent drama, it appears that half of this game's supportive community is coming to the defense and trying to downplay the horrid actions that have taken place.

4. The developers:
The developers behave immaturely.
They are biased, and only care about the opinions of themselves.
They are rude and toxic.
And following up from the recent drama, they deny any evidence that proves the other dev(s) guilty of CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

5. The drama:
One of the developers has been accused and proven guilty of grooming minors.
The devs and community still defend this developer, claiming that they were only accusations, and nothing the victims said was true.
Instead of giving us and the victims the response they deserve, The Isle's lead developer still continues to hide himself and only rant about how this drama is affecting his ego and persona.

EVRIMA has improved slightly, I still wouldn't say that it is the go to branch; it's (EVRIMA) is basically just a broken walking simulator, as there is a lot of bugs and the hitboxes are even worse than the ones in Legacy, so good luck trying to survive. In mid 2021 the devs decided to "fix" Legacy. (in reality they just didn't want exploited servers to be up anymore, even though the branch is abandoned) As we all know, Legacy isn't fixed; it was destroyed. The lighting system is completely broken, and it is now easier to get killed by broken hitboxes, but also easier to get ass-ridden to death. The in-game server hosting system is completely broken now; it only shows a black screen.

But Legacy still is enjoyable for the most part, though the game used to be a lot better.
