I really cannot give this "game" a good review. I'm not going to refund b/c I really should have known better. However, I honestly felt as though there would be some options (different trees, different seasons, different weather, maybe some wildlife). And then I saw someone mention "tree facts" so I thought maybe we might get some different trees with facts about each one and we might learn something along the way. None of this happens.

What you have here is the same tree, same scenery, same music. The only thing that changes is the time of day.

I would be willing to change my review if any of these changes happen in the future.

I was not a fan of this game. It wasn't all bad--I applaud the developer creating the environment. But all that space to find eight stars was not my cup of tea. None of the houses opened and the stars were out in the open but a lot of time invested running around the same old space looking wasn't fun for me. Everything looked pretty much the same so it was easy to get turned around and wondering have I been here before?

I have to give it maybe 3/10. 3 stars b/c I applaud the effort and like to support new developers.

I bought this game in spite of a lot of bad reviews because I thoroughly enjoyed The Initiate and The Initiate 2. Not listening to the reviews was a big mistake.

Chapter 1 was enjoyable in spite of a lot of small bugs. Chapter 2 was kind of pointless but I managed to get through it fairly quickly. Chapter 3 is completely unplayable for me. No explaination of what or how to do the "objectives." But after two complete playthroughs, I was never able to stay alive long enough to figure it out. The objective is to kill and "skin" some animals. The animals would run in place for several seconds during which your bullets seemed to do no harm and then they would finally bolt towards you when you would have to fire fast enough to kill them. Once killed, there seemed to be no way to interact with them to get a skin. Meanwhile, you would suddenly be attacked from behind and even with a good starting health, you are dead.

I posted to the forums about the problem but evidently anyone who had once been interested in the game is long gone. Meanwhile, I had played too many hours (playing through twice) to get a refund.

The Room Three does not disappoint. I've loved all The Room games but this one is my favorite so far. Love the story behind it and the puzzles were fun and very intuitive.

Escape your way through a series of rooms and puzzles with four different endings! Graphics and mechanics are the best they could be.

The only regret is, it ended. Please keep this series coming!

Well worth it at any price. Highly recommend this game. 10/10

This was a really fun "escape room" game.

There are 10 chapters that you play. Each chapter you need to find clues and other items to proceed through the room(s) until you find the last room with the Ancient Scroll. This unlocks the next chapter, etc. The puzzles are mostly logical (easy to hard in no particular order) and progresses you through the levels at a nice pace.

At the end of each chapter, you receive a score for the amount of time it took you, number of items you found and level of difficulty you played. It then shows your ranking amongst all the players who have played.

I admit, I played Easy this time through, though I plan to go back and play the other levels to try to complete all the achievements.

An interesting aspect to note: There are no saves mid-chapter (though on Easy, the levels can be played usually between 30 and 45 minutes each). You can pause the game if you have to stop for a while. Otherwise, if you exit out and return to play the same chapter, most of the items and clues will have spawned to a different place.

Highly recommend.

Very nice game. Graphics fantastic, Good story. Most of the puzzles were intuitive. Very much like "The Room" games. Mechanics were a little clunky in spots (i.e., click a million times just to find out you weren't zoomed in enough) but not game breaking.

Just finished this game. It has been added to my very short list of favorites.

The amount of hours is probably over-rated b/c I left it on a pause a few times but it is a very long game with a LOT to explore. You have crash landed on a planet and must try to find other survivors or a way to communicate with them. The whole game is figuring out how to do this and learning the story of the planet. At first you really don't have a clue what to do or what anything is but it eventually becomes clear and has a very definite ending.

There are many buildings, land and caves to explore. Though the game is most definitely creepy there's only a few concrete dangers you need to avoid, other than just surviving. On Easy, for most of the time you have a "directional" to tell you where you need to be going. I'm not sure that is the case on the harder levels. You have a PDA that will show your current objective.

Overall, a very interesting and enjoyable game.

I'm writing this review after completing the Demo and just starting the full version. I really love this game. It is a true, realistic detective game. You play as a reporter who has one last look at an unsolved murder before they commence to shut the area down. No jump scares or "shoot 'em ups" just plain old good mystery.

No hand holding BUT if you look at everything and read everything you will find the clues to lead you to the next clue, etc. I find it a very logical progression. There are several things to read but they are short so it doesn't get boring. Be prepared to take notes!

Takes place in kind of a "neighborhood" in which you soon get to know your way around. Lots of places to explore! Here's a game play hint which I don't think will give anything away from the story: When you first start the game, there's really no need to try to open each and every door you encounter (like I did)--just follow the clues and they will eventually lead you to which doors can be opened. If you "sprint" it doesn't take long to get from place to place.

An added plus is a developer who cares. I posted a question in the forum and got an almost immediate response from them.

So far, I would say there's only one negative to this game and that is there is a slow load time between "areas" (20 to 60 seconds on my computer). I am told by the developer that this is being worked on, though it might take a while to resolve. In my opinion, this is NOT game breaking.

A very short point and click. Make your way through an abandoned building by finding items that eventually unlock all the areas. Fairly easy to figure it all out. Unusual game set up where only stills and a map are used.

Don't buy at full price but if you get it on a BIG sale it's a fun 3 hour game.

You play as a puzzle detective to solve a mystery and reopen an eraser factory.

I would give this a 3 out of 5 stars. Cute (though pretty juvenile) little story--characters remind me of Fargo. To progress through the mystery, you are required to solve different puzzles--mostly logic. Most of the puzzles are pretty easy, though I did have to use hints and guesses from time to time.

Took me about 5 hours to complete. If you like solving puzzles, I would recommend, but wait for a sale.
