I got steam just to play this game back in the day because my crap-box couldn't run Minecraft. Couldn't put it down.

It scratches every gaming itch for me. Terraria has a dopamine loop like no other. It's got an excellent balance of grind, explore, loot, fight, upgrade and build. With a sandbox that lets you shape every block how you want, and express youself creativity between getting that next item/upgrade and defeating the next boss.

There's a lot of content to get lost in, especially after the Journeys end update. It's a slow burn in the beginning, expect plenty of deaths and asmall amount of trial and error. It picks up eventually and you'll uncover many layers of game.

This review doesn't do the game justice, and it's fairly biased. Give it a try, it's only ten bucks and it's stayed that way for over a decade with huge updates. You won't regret it. (Probably) anyways thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
