Review Per Game

Halo CE: 5/5
This game is so fun I didn't care about the outdated graphics. I think the gameplay is extremely ahead of its time despite how old this game is. Simple storyline, great NPCs and normal mode is perfectly challenging if you just want to play though this at a fast pace. Only negative critique is that I got lost a few times in buildings and spent at least 30 minutes trying to figure out where I was supposed to go.

Halo 2: 5/5
Remastered edition. I got lost more in buildings but not as long. And the gameplay is still very fun. Less like an arcade and more like a FPS. The story is now branched deeper and we have great world building. I think this is peak Halo in terms of balanced gameplay, level design and combat mechanics. So fun.

Halo 3: 4/5
I wish the story was a bit different. I feel like I played a different version of Halo 2, except with bubble shields and more complicated grenades. However, I just witnessed the Warthog run and that was a great ending drive. Music is fantastic, love the new motorcycle vehicle.

Halo: ODST / Reach: 3/5
These didn't really stick with me as I hoped. Only played about an hour of ODST and 5 min of Reach. Maybe it needs to stick with Master Chief and less of a Call of Duty style game. ODST has by far the worst tutorial I've ever experienced, and I even got lost in the tutorial map. The map design is so bad, the game gives you an option to press the UP arrow button to guide you to where you need to go. The map panel is so unnecessarily complex like a RPG game.
