STALKER, cheeki breeki iv damke!
Very rough around the edges, buggy, poor stealth mechanics, bullet sponge mutants that lack the innovations from the mods, good but not great realistic gunplay by today's standards, outdated graphics... and yet, and here me out: STALKER.

Every creative idea was taken from somewhere else who used it better, the aesthetic is meh, and the grappling hook sucks. The missions are stress-free, the enemies are boring, and gear is your typical grind-vomit.

Hm...
Look, I don't if everyone is going to like this writing, but if you're an empathetic person then this could tickle an itch for you.

The real quadruple A game.

Hey, they did the thing, neat!

Haha, wow. ME3 does not hold up; laughable AI on Insane difficulty (both squad and enemy), and dopey controls.

I mean, it's the Mass Effect trilogy, still-- grandest sci-fi rpg experience in gaming, still-- but "Legendary Edition" is a bit "meh." Fingers crossed this whole thing just gets remade from the ground up by anyone else.

Very fun, one of the better tactical games I've played.

Needs more time in the oven.

Great concept, fun core gameplay loop...
Procedural city generation is sometimes game breaking, most often dull or frustrating (VENTS! ARGH!)
Not enough evidence variety, everyone is this city is a diabetic with high blood pressure.
Quests break, occasionally.

They launched ON their 1.0 patch... which was a massive patch (removed 40GB), so it's basically still in early access.

However, it is also the best realistic shooter I can think of, and it only requires two mods: AI overhaul (conveniently available through the in-game mod.io plug-in the devs included) and VoiceAttack (which is not a mod, it is a program for voice-activated macros available through steam which I will be using for to command my squad mates in singleplayer.)

With those two combined, the game becomes "quirky-- unpolished here and there-- but, excellent!"

Not until there's mod support.
... Well, there's mod support, but as it turns out the game is so unfinished that not even that will fix it.

I was looking for a game about fighting waifus, not misogynistic diatribes. What a waste.
