Dishonored is THE BEST Stealth game I've ever played, and here's why:
-The plot and universe of the game are both engrossing, developed, and remarkably done, inspired by 19th-century London and Edinburgh and worthy of its own novel.
-The gameplay combines awesome magic spells, customizeable gadgets and weapons, swordplay that is satisfying and robust, and enemies and NPCs that are believable and challenging.
-Levels allow for multiple methods of completion, ones that are not always obvious and promote satisfying exploration and experimentation.
-Detection is easy to understand and not easy to take advantage of, promoting skill rather than exploitation.
-Everything looks beautiful, from character models to expansive, gritty buildings.
-Your decisions matter. The game can end in multiple different ways.

You can cast a spell where you can stop time and walk around enemies frozen in time, plucking bullets and arrows from the air. You can teleport from ledge to ledge, shadow to shadow, as you stealthily move closer to your objective. And you WILL feel a rush of wonderful excitement upon success in this game, a success that comes often but must be worked for. I RECOMMEND THIS GAME WHOLEHEARTEDLY, ranking (in my book) above stealth games like Hitman, Deus Ex, and Metro.

The announcement of Dishonored 2 is no reason not to get Dishonored. It's a wonderful award-winning game that deserves playing. Corvo Attano has been Dishonored... What will you do?
