Ixion is a solid resource management game with engaging mechanics that kept me entertained throughout much of the experience. The gameplay is well-designed, and managing resources feels rewarding, especially in the earlier chapters.

However, the story starts to falter after Chapter 3. While it initially sets up an intriguing premise, it becomes predictable and less engaging as it progresses. This decline in narrative quality detracted from the overall experience for me.

Despite its storytelling flaws, I had fun playing Ixion. It’s worth trying if you’re a fan of the genre, but don’t expect the story to carry the game past a certain point. I’d give it a solid 4/5!
