*EDIT* Just finished the main story and 100%ed game. This studio really did an unbelievable job with this IP, easily the best Indiana Jones game I've played and I'm not sure how much more they could perfect this formula. Aside from the cogwheel puzzle in Sukhotai that required a lot more running around than the game ever lets on (you need all 10 cogwheels to open some of the puzzle areas while others only needed like 5-6 but, prior to finding an area map, the game never gives any helpful clues/hints, ex: Indy commenting that u dont have enough & there must be more somewhere. Some puzzles deceptively look simple and can be solved with just a small number of cogs, but you end up wasting 10-20 minutes in vain) , the exploration and secrets you will uncover make the whole experience feel so rewarding and interesting. Overall, I'm so glad I made the jump to buy into this adventure and I greatly look forward to the next DLC/installment in this series. I sincerely hope more Indiana Jones games like this one come out, given the massive potential this IP clearly has as demonstrated by this game.

*ORIGINAL* Between the incredible amount of exploration, dungeon delving, artifact/intel hunting, and puzzle solving, this is THE Indiana Jones game to truly experience the films from Indy’s perspective. The puzzles/hints also do not feel panderingly easy to me, as some prove to be quite interesting and require you to do a lot of detective work analyzing seemingly unrelated clues.

The combat is fun and feels exactly like I’d want it to feel like just like the movies. You really feel the punches when they connect and when you smack enemies with random objects/weapons.

Furthermore, I absolutely love the detail put into the various tombs/dungeons in the game. There are traces of that legendary environmental storytelling that Bethesda games do so well.

The game is a labor of love by people that clearly were fans of the films and is a serious contender for GOTY for me.
