A bit of a learning curve to it, but if you take the game slow and play smart, you will find there is little you can't overcome. There are three main weapons, sword, bow, and spell, and you can pick two of them to get skilled in. All the secondary skills can be learned also, but bear in mind you have a limited pool of points to train skills each level. The story I have seen so far has been well done, and you never feel trapped by it.

That said, this is very much open world. It can be easy to end up lost in the sheer number of items you can collect, items which you can combine in crafting thousands of ways. You even get your own pocket dimention you can return to out of combat, and can turn it into a nexus with the right recipies.

In short, a classless isometric RPG with survival elements and extensive crafting possibility.
