Life is what it is.

I am as subtle as a 70 tank driving over your beloved opinion.

Yeah, I play wargames. Old school, not Call of Duty, I push cardboard.
I'm a hard core type. I'm also a chick, so in addition to wargames, I like Barbies Bunnies and Bears.
I build models, a lot. When I'm not reading romance novels, a lot.
I know my way around the hardware store. As much as the kitchenware department.

And at 62, I've seen a lot. But my life began in 2017 in a way as well.

I have spent the last 2 hours sifting through your comments, can't imagine growing up in the 60's.. Being 21 and growing up my entire life with the internet, I feel it has been so detrimental to my mental health and outlook on life. my parents (raised in the 1970s) feel so sorry for our generation, they think their lives were far more meaningful before the net.

all da best

The days flow past so fast sometimes it seems. Half of Sept is gone, it just arrived didn't it? Frankly, I want the tail end of 2024 gone as fast as possible. So I can either sigh in relief, or panic and quit discussing anything online. Which is how I suspect 2024 will end.

2025, if I am lucky, will be me no longer having much to discuss anything online, so I can focus on games. Or the world goes to ♥♥♥♥, and I just go into hide mode and pursue life mainly offline.
I grew up in the 60s when life mainly didn't need an electrical outlet to have fun.

I think my bike is calling me.

Hoping to take some pictures of the counters after the whole creation point is finished.

I should mention, no, I don't take requests to craft counters for sale etc etc.
Toooo much past my capacity.

Posted to 'Artwork' some images to look at. Nothing too elaborate. I have pdf files of hundreds of wargames. All obtained mainly from an SPI fan site, or an SL/ASL fan site, or often Board Game Geek. When not purchased from Wargame Vault, a site for more modern designs. Many great games are sold both as pdfs for print and play as well as the more conventional boxed sort (which are routinely omg expensive). My counters are not radical or very original. They just require me to spend a lot of time with scissors :)

Rules are simple to print. Maps not so simple or cheap. Counters are really just a lot of cutting tedium. It depends on the game. I CAN print out Fire in the East. but finding a 6x8 table not so easy. I tend to prefer games that sit within a 2x3 footprint. SPIs quad titles easy for size. ASL the same. Valor and Victory the same. Anything wearing the term 'monster game' will eat entire rooms. Just because you can print it, doesn't mean you get to play it.

Sorry for boring ya all.
At least here I can rant.
I normally rant on Tribel.
I'm done ranting.
Don't invite me to Groups on Steam if any of the preceding content isn't welcome.
Because I won't be changing.
I don't expect anyone to change for me.
