This game didn't get half the attention it deserves.

Playing it feels like walking through a painting. The artstyle and animation are absolutely incredible, and the original score by Berlinist completes the experience perfectly. If you're unsure about the game i recommend going to youtube and listening to the beginning of the soundtrack to get a feel for the mood.

On a mechanical level the game is simple yet effective. As far as i know there are no failstates and you don't have a lot of moves (i think i only ever needed 3 buttons + the joystick) but every move feels intuitive and doesn't need any sort of tutorial. Don't go into this expecting an experience similar to a platformer that really tests your skills, like celeste. Instead the platforming is simple and concise but still satisfying. I never got stuck for longer than 2 or 3 minutes and finished the game in just under 3 hours (and i think any platformer novice can do it in less than 5 easily), but i still think the price is completely justified for what you get, and i definitely intend to go back and do it all again soon.

I truly hope more people will give this a shot.
