The content packs are worth the $5 for added features but Item packs will depend on your tastes if they are worth those five dollars (For example I never bought the GAP tie-in pack or the movie prop pack). Also avoid Showtime (unwanted clunky social features) and Island Adventure (Game breaking bugs)
