Years after launch and finishing the game on console, I can still enjoy the story and gameplay. Forgiving some of the overly dramatic story sequences, and a bit of repetitive gameplay outside of main story missions, it is a fun and intriguing sandbox. I wasn't one of those expecting the greatest game ever after the E3 showing, so taking it for what it is and not what was expected makes the game more enjoyable. Take it for what it is, with the flaws and all, and it can be very fun. It would be better to embrace the campy nature the sequel had I think, taking itself too seriously was a major drawback.
