As a veteran Total War player, this DLC isn't a surprise at all.

Bear in mind, it is a good one; the Slavs are supposed to counter the Huns in general, yet as this DLC stands right now, it hurts every other faction

+ Poison arrows come in regular and heavy variants, meaning two types of poison can be done to a unit.
+ Each faction has two units that differ from the other.
+ Their campaign traits force you to build certain buildings, fight certain factions or in certain areas.
+ Their initial difficulties are pretty interesting (the Anteans have the same difficulty as the ERE).

- Poison arrows are considered OP; they exhaust a unit regardless of amount of hits.
- The Slavs lack diversity and, most importantly, melee cavalry.
- Their general, which is an axe unit, has spear wall, which is most likely an error.
- The Slavs can be hard countered by the Celts, meaning you have to buy their DLC to be effective.
- Four of their axe units cost the same yet their stats are quite different (perhaps because of abilities).

In conclusion, this DLC has potential but, as it stands right now, I would NOT recommend this DLC simply because it is similar to the other DLCs in which its just copy-paste factions with 2 units that are different and the fact that poison arrows can do so much damage. I believe that CA will fix these problems but until then, you might want to hold onto your money.
