Not much better than early access, the starter zone has been cut down some what but many of the early access flaws are still there.. This down vote is because its still full of the things i dislike.

It ran good for me on Rx6700xt on 4k with DX11 on ultra with a few crashes, some minor choppiness in DX11 early on then seems to disappear.

That said its a average game, an poor character creation marred by frankly over the top rainbow warrior wokeness, but you can avoid that if you do not press the randomise buttons. Then the character gen is pretty basic, why we need 5 different genitals but zero face and body changes is beyond me.

The early game is solid but the companions are still all obnoxious and insufferable, toned down a little though after early access, they at least thank me for saving them before berating me again now..

Turn based combat works and its the original style of DnD (DoS clone)..

The romancing is oppressive and one mistake being friendly can have you in bed with the same sex companions.. so be careful if you aren't gay.. like myself, way to much bait and switch conversations.. the devs here definitely believe in indoctrination and grooming.. sad because the game under the hood is solid.

The main story appears to be mostly about the side characters more than the main akin to DoS 1 and 2, its very inconsistent as in it follows the trend of media these days, Women strong, men feminine etc.

I had to mod out the lowest difficulty not allowing multi classing which was just spiteful and dumb.. i got sick of switching difficulties every level up..

Larion have added a ton of their own home brew to this so if you are a DnD purist you might be shocked on how unDnD it is.

Also there are no Gnome, Dwarven or Halfling origin characters.. Which in my opinion was a huge missed opportunity but i guess those races are a passing thought to Larion and do not fit their agendas sadly.

On a whole Its a flawed game honestly wait for a sale to save your money.. If you can avoid or ignore most of the heavy woke modern social agenda that presides in this then the game will be possibly for you.

Act 2 and 3 were atrocious.. very poor and no where near the standard of Act 1, not worth wasting 100 hours of woke indoctrination to find out the end game isn't worth getting too..

Down voted.. It does have bugs and quest breakers as well.. Avoid in my opinion.
