I left my original review below from when I recommended it previously. This game was a phenomenal game when it launched. They had tons of fun mechanics and things worked well and made sense. Unfortunately as they have updated the game, they have added more and more game breaking bugs such as gunsights not being aligned with the weapons properly, throwing grenades back causing crashes, absurd amounts of new bugs that result in instant death, and ridiculous changed to weapons that have resulted in players lacking the ability to effectively manage threats in the game. Additionally they choose to mock players that speak out against their changes instead of listening. If you already have the game, like me you are stuck with it and can't refund it. This game is nothing like the game that launched and is in many ways a bait and switch almost.



I really like this game. It's extremely fun.

That being said, I haven't been able to play it in almost 2 weeks due to "server capacity" which is an absolute farce. Additionally the kernel level anticheat "nGuard" is an absolute nightmare for a multitude of reasons. It is for these two reasons I can't recommend the game at this time which is really sad because the gameplay for this game is incredible but there's no way to do adhoc private matches and the anticheat is basically a virus.


Revising my review, They have fixed the issues with not being able to play. Now the only complaint I have is with the nguard anticheat. I am experiencing a lot of lag ingame due to the anticheat when I have other things going on on my computer like streaming a youtube video. This is most likely because I'm on Linux and the kernel communication is an extra layer separated by proton. That being said, it is playable and just as enjoyable as before so I am changing my review to recommended.
