I cannot believe that after 1 year and 3 months still no fixes on the most annoying bugs and also no changes in the annoying interface when in combat.

Lots of users asked Dan over and over to please make it easier to use abilities for ships when in combat, you have to select each and every ship over and over because you have to click the ability for a ship one by one. There is no select all and then click on ability.
Guess what, 1 year and 3 months later still not fixed or at least changed so that you can do this and yet new DLCs and new features and core game controls still annoying and tedious.
AI still cheating like crazy where they have less planets than you but come with fleets 4 times bigger than you and crush you.
Bugs, bugs, bugs.
Stay Away and do not support devs like this.

EDIT: I have changed my review to negative and do not recommend this game at all, the developer ZERO does not like to hear negative comments, when you do post on his site or on steam forum then he deletes the negative comments about his game. So only positive is allowed so that he can sell more games. He is just after the money and only want to hear good things.

I changed my recommendation from yes to no because my first review was first impressions of playing game, but after playing a while and getting late game lots and lots of issues came up which the developer does not want to hear about, he does not like negative feedback and as of now it seems this game is also abandoned just like Stardrive 1 but he speaks about DLCs etc and core game still having issues. I will not support this guy again because he only wants the guys commenting when its good, its like a little gang he has and as soon as you say something negative then his gang on top of you and you get banned from his forums.

Do not buy this game, there is way better 4x games out there and by the way a new Master Of Orion is on the way. I cannot wait for this.

I was really upset when Stardrive 1 was abandoned and never finished and i sweared i will never buy a game from Dan (Zero) again.....ever!!!!

BUT.....I took advantage of my 33% discount and did what i said i would never do again.....I bought the game.....yes, yes, i gave my money to Dan again.

WOW, all i can say is WOW, this game is amazing, i am stunned by the graphics, the combat, how ships die, the universe, the story, the design of ships etc etc etc. I am glad i took my 33% discount and bought the game.

The only thing i do not like is the way research works, because i would like to research everything....maybe i would get used to it because the game has so much to offer.

Now i have not played much but WOW Dan, amazingly done, i am really amazed by your talent and this game is so well done.

Please please Dan....do not abandon this game as well.

I would definitely recommend this game to 4x gamers and i am stunned. Take it from someone who was very angry at Dan abandoning the first game but i think he made up for this BIG TIME with Stardrive 2.

I will play this game more but i think i am going to eat my words and i already love this game. Cannot wait to see what happens the next turn, it keeps on surprizing me.

Well done on this game, amazing for one man show. You have surely changed my mind so far with this game. You are really showing other BIG companies making 4x games on how it should be done. I love it.

I know i gave you hard time with Stardrive 1 because of bugs and abandoned game but so far you have made it up with this game.

Edit: After playing some more i am a bit irritated by the AI coming with big fleets when your still trying to build up, its as if the AI is cheating and they attack you so quickly in the game.\
Not even mentioning the damn pirates and other creatures attacking you so quickly like 20 turns into the game, i have like 4 small fighters and lose everything, they come to quickly in game.
Also the easy setting does not work, AI so strong and kill you so quickly.
The setting to make pirates less does not work as well, they just keep coming and coming, lots of them and so often.
The map is small as well, even with 100 systems it is still too small, the AI so quickly on you and then just overrun you.

I hope this gets patched soon or fixed, and bigger maps would be great.
