Honestly, I was stoked for this game when I saw previews of it last year. Survival is my #1 genre and it seemed like just what was needed to scratch that Valheim itch, with just a little more added in. I'm pretty disappointed.

The world is very empty feeling. Even wildlife is sparse. I know it's EA, but it gives off a vibe akin to an earlier phase in development. As for now, I wouldn't recommend the title in it's current phase, at the price. It's really not worth it. Maybe in time that will change, but for now it's best to just hold off until more updates are released.

Not a bad game, but definitely grindy. By the time you finally get a new map unlocked, you start to lose interest. Leveling takes too long and the prices of items are REALLY steep. Other than that, the random jumpscares are fun and the game is a blast with friends. I always enjoy getting friends to say the audio triggers, unwittingly :)

Absolutely amazing game. The atmosphere, the story-telling, everything. I find myself frequently uninterested in single player titles. This game kept me so enthralled, I couldn't put it down. Definitely worth playing.

The game has a lot of beautiful bugs to it. Skyrim level even. People are complaining, but it's early access. It took a long time, yes, but at least they gave you something and they didn't sell it to you for $60-70.

The atmosphere is gorgeous with ever-changing weather patterns. You aren't meant to rush through to get through the story. You're meant to "stop and smell the roses".

I really appreciate the companions, and wooing Virginia was such a unique way to gain a strong ally.

My main complaint is the building system change. Though it is nice to be able to freely build, it isn't super intuitive and little explanation is given. I definitely miss being able to throw down a blueprint and fill it out. The old system was better.

The inventory management is ok, but I really would love a hotbar or keybind system for weapons. They're too cumbersome to put away/take out in battle.

Overall, a fun game with unique concepts. Can't wait to see what changes they make along the way.

Pretty boring. The story is trash and you can tell the creators didn't put much effort into the animations. The character creation is extremely limited. When you change keybinds, prompts do not update accordingly. So you'll get a prompt for "Q" when you've changed the keybind to "1". Also, maybe give a prompt for the fishing? I wasted tons of bait, going through different keys to figure out how to catch a damn fish. Overall, just play something else.

Really enjoy the game, but wish it was a bit more balanced. It's definitely a lot harder for the survivors than it is the killer. Still an overall enjoyable game and I almost always have fun playing :)
