As a new player, the experience in Demologist has been quite frustrating, especially when it comes to the difficulty of finding a lobby. Often, I was kicked out due to my low rank, which forced me to play solo. While this increases the sense of fear and immersion typical of a solitary experience, it completely loses the fun that comes from playing with a team.

Another aspect that didn’t convince me is the gameplay, which tends to become repetitive and long. Although the gameplay is initially interesting, it risks becoming boring over time, and it can feel quite tedious.

While Demologist is certainly better than other games in the same genre, even more recent ones, the combination of issues with multiplayer and the repetitive nature of the gameplay prevents me from recommending this title to anyone looking for a more engaging and varied experience.

With some UI clean-up, some small bug fixes, more intuitive utility, and more maps and models, this game will be everything phasmophobia could've been and more. Don't get me wrong, I already believe this game to be more enjoyable than phas, however given the games short lifespan so far there aren't as many maps to explore but each map has something new to offer compared to the last, This game is excellent and I hope that the devs will continue to show it love!
