Had a meltdown when the pilot threw kerosene in my engines, 10/10, best beleaguered engineer sim yet.

While a little on the short side, it's a very pleasant journey through the Wyoming countryside filled with *the* most natural voiceacting I've ever heard. Marry that with some stellar writing, and you've got a game that'll make you chuckle or feel every ounce of tension as the mystery deepens.

All in all, if you're into adventure games where you do more than point and click, this is the one for you!

Dove into a trench to take cover from an inbound artillery strike, listened to a man (German? Russian? Couldn't tell, the artillery blinded me) choke to death on his own blood between shell impacts.

Fast, energetic, and brutal, but be prepared to be stomped if you're human and your team doesn't have cohesion.

Or they just up and leave when the vampires get more than a point lead.

Or they die more than once without getting a kill.

Or they (etc.)

Good game, but grab some friends and form a party, the pubs are flighty and prone to wandering off by themselves.

It's the original Metro...but shinier! Better! More expanded!

While it's not as dark (I mean that literally, not in the metaphorical sense), Redux has a *lot* of improvements over the original

+ Roaming above ground looks a hell of a lot better, and prettier to boot. Plus, the Metro itself looks great!
+ Two game modes - Survival (Classic) and Spartan (Last Light-style), with Ranger mode built in!
+ Expanded areas to explore, so wandering off into that dimly lit side tunnel is great for finding environmental stories and loot
+ Safes give you a nice loot based incentive to explore out of the way areas for their keys

But, there are a few detractors

-/+ Stealth knockouts break the game like in Last Light. You'll be overflowing with ammo and medkits, but that does make the inevitable mutant hordes easier
- A bunch of bugs, mostly related to climbable surfaces. Hopping into broken down trains, climbing out of holes in the hub stations, etc
- If you somehow alert anyone, everyone will know exactly where you are regardless, and will hunt you down like a guided missile.

All in all, a very well put together update for Metro, worth the cash!

A little on the short side, but a great game, none the less. Nice atmosphere, well written (And voiced, for an indie game) story, and more than a few darkly humorous moments.

Looks pretty, but throws everything that made the AC series great out the window in favor of forcing you into a QTE to shoot down every single plane.

And there are a lot of them.

Prepare for 45 minute missions to shoot downa handfull of aircraft

Marvel as you watch your plane magically repair itself mid fligh!

Stare astonished as that common fighter plane dodges your locked missile for the 20th time, forcing you into the half minute-minute long QTE to shoot it down!

Laugh with glee as the Strangereal setting and plot(s) are tossed aside in favor of the real world with a typical summer block buster plot of evil Russians!

Regret spending $5 on it during the sale and go back to playing AC Infinity!

What starts with a nice atmosphere and budding love story rapidly devolves into "Find X key" puzzles, with the (to start) well written love story rapidly devolving into saccharine worthy of the worst Teenage Romance movies.

Also, 19.99 for barely an hours worth of gameplay.
