Difficult Decisions That Get People Killed: The Game

It's a great sequel - good music, good gameplay, good puzzles, bosses are more strategic than in LM1 - except for the part where you can softlock 20 hours in because a miniboss you need to kill to finish an endgame puzzle despawns and never reappears

That they still haven't fixed this as of 2021, two and a half years after release, isn't a good look for the devs.

It's like Destiny 2, but free, and you're a space ninja, and it doesn't assume you read a textbook's worth of lore from Destiny 1.

Also the devs are surprisingly good about listening to the community.

Evoland 2 is my favourite action RPG tactical shoot-em-up puzzle stealth rhythm game. Trying to pick out all the references is a real trip.

The interface was a bit clunky and took some getting used to, and balance was such that I felt overpowered by the end of the game, but the plot was an extremely interesting and satisfying experience and I felt genuinely attached to all the major characters I was working with. I'd never done anything with Shadowrun before this, but this felt like a great introduction to the setting.

PIRATES. That is all.

Better in every measurable way than Borderlands 1, this is everything a sequel is MEANT to be. The writing especially is amazing and hilarious. Handsome Jack - villain of the year, EVERY year.
