Well, that isn't a Final Fantasy Remake, yeah.
Somehow it is more akin to single player genshin impact, but quality is all over the place.

Positives:
- Story, yes, it is a cliche one, but this year that counts, and there is a lot of it, I dont want to get my story one drop per multiple hours looking at you smt 5, FFXIV, dragon age inquisition. Story passing is not broken! that is +2 points from me.
- Combat system, at the start it is boring, but around the time you get your third party member gets fun and complex (mind you, that was an 8th hour of the rushing through the story for me).
- Characters, their designs are pretty good and interactions could be fun, again dynamic in the group starts to build up around hour 5, so watching two planks at the start isn't fun.
- Locations look great, they have variety but somewhat inconsistent in quality.
- Waifu simulator, main collectibles are immersion accessories from some cheap hentai game. Yes, you can make your character wear cat/dog etc ears through the whole game.
Negatives:
- Npc interactions lacking... everything, those could be made just into questboards.
- Side quest are the worst fetch quest coming right from mmorpg game.
- Controls are just bad as well as ui, you can't even place a healing potion in a quick slot.
- Aggressive and overpriced dlcs.
- Enemy variety, there is like what 4 enemies during first four hours.
- The way you meant to learning new skills is broken, my characters are level 12 as well as enemies. You have only 3 slots for active skills. But I have a choice of like 25 to learn, but no there near skill points I need. So even though, there is a lot of skills, you cant take more than three in the battle (you can swap them, but that take you to go pretty deep into the menu), and not enough skill points to learn any.
- Just feels cheap and unpolished sometimes.

Conclusion:
Haven't fall a sleep, has a story and not the worst gameplay... that is a win in my book in 2021.
Verdict - 6 / 10, would be a 7, but takes too much time to wind up.

Pos:
- Ohhhh, I know that thing from Isaac
- Cardboard graphics are cute
- it is match three, love or hate, it is depends on you
Cons:
- For some reason, sometimes it freezes during any loading screen, yep, end of the run.
- Too random and it is not only about trinkets you get, but enemies you face.
- I don't get behind the idea, why where is a tooth mana, it is identical, feels redundant
- Isaac was good because trinkets/items and combining them were fun, here, after 3 runs, you either use item all the time or it is trash, and no item combines with another.
- Again, why is there no path choice in a game? or some kind risk/reward system, that is what Isaac was all about.
- And yeah, it runs like crap, it looks unpolished and feels just like a demo, expected so much more.

First of all, I love card games tcg, table tops any of them, but this one eghh..

First of all art style, I mean lack of it, it looks like something that was made in 42 hours and it plays like that.

Playing it feels like using starter deck of hearthstone or mtg and adding one card from top tier decks after every match. Probably, you are not going to draw that card, and it won't synergize with anything in your deck. Another thing, cards are boring, it is always some attack with a pointy stick or defence move , it just dull to read through "Slash: 5 dmg" "Crashing blow: 9 dmg draw a card". In 4 games I played with 2 characters they felt the same against first enemy as well as last.
Any encounter goes like this, look at the enemy is he going to attack you? Yes - mach your defense to his attack and dmg with everything else, if not, forget about defending - just dmg him as hard as you can. You need to always get as much armor as enemy attack or else, encouters are just going to kill you little by little, so you play long careful games stacking armor. And I thing it isnt ever a good game design, when you have a way finish level quicker, but you will probably die on a boss in the end of a level.

Even though, I heard and read many good things about this game, but I don't want to make myself launch this dull thing.
