It isn't a good game in 2023 gameplay wise. They made location feel the same, small enemy variety. Game loves to spawn you between two enemies, without any gameplay feature to deal with it. Maybe not all classic games were really that good?

Even with dlss runs like garbage on 3070 1440p dropping from 60 locked to 27fps on medium settings that is unacceptable.

I thought I was the perfect audience for this game, I liked the game author was inspired by, I preordered the game because I wanted to support the indie developer and I didn't expect anything from it, so why I feel disappointed?

Every other review starts with "it was made by one person", in my eyes it only makes this game problem worse, because game clearly lacks overall design vision. Was it over ambition and development cuts? Probably.
The game fails at things it so desperately tries to shine in.

We have group of people we should care about? We have no introductions to any of them.

It has anime style? The most boring and bland designs for characters.

It has an action combat?
Yes, and you have one combo, really unresponsive gameplay and enemies that you need to complete 10 quick time events to kill.

It wants to tell a big epic story?
Nobody behaves like they should, nobody asks questions, dialogs can hardly last two sentences before skipping two days to the next scene.

It has a social stat system? It is gonna make annoying sound every time you pick dialog option and nothing else.

It has a dating sim? Here we are forcing you into one and only girl in first two hours of a game, without needing to earn her trust she is all over the main character.

It has problems with engine, games saves loads every time new scene is happens it won't be a problem, but scenes change every 10 seconds.

In the end, I think if project was scaled down, maybe just a VN with some 2D action combat, it would be a much better game.

I liked the game. I want more games like that, but this game is far from perfect.
Positives:
Then I bought it I thought it is gonna be a visual novel with some animated music numbers, I was wrong.
Experience feels pretty much like telltale, because it is story told through still frames, but with really clever animations and the best use of 3d environments in 2d game.
It sounds good, it looks pretty.
Negatives:
Ok let's talk about cringe and stupid staff.
Character designs are over-designed they look ridiculous. Most male characters are naked and sexualized to the point bsdm gear is their everyday clothes. Who thought it is a good idea, why gods look like that, the characters we suppose to care about? Female cast of gods characters also looks bad all of them, you needed to tone down their designs.
Aphrodite is fat? Just don't, you are not making a point.

Overall what was accomplished is great, writing, songs, storytelling is almost thrown out because somebody injected woke and gen-z garbage into the game. It will ruin this game for some people, but it is still something worth experiencing.

Haven't have such a good time in rpg since dragon age origin!

I liked to play it on mobile years ago, but this version looks ugly and has performance issues.

- Most of the characters look ugly, they made style too realistic
- Heavy trans / gay themes, I am not against it but that is overboard
- You cant create pleasant to look at character in character creator, one of the worst one I seen
- I think people in online spamming combos in new "modern" control scheme that plays game for you, it has auto combos
- Too few characters, no costumes
- Over all design is too muddy, I checked if graphics wasnt on low couple of times to be sure even though games was on ultra
Not recommended.

Edited: half a year past it is still unoptimized mess.

scam, developers run away after a year.

Bad value for a price. For h content only has a few still images with poor quality.
